Elliott's Designs Company

Elliott's Designs only uses heavy gauge steel tubing and solid rods for extra strength to achieve the secure feel of the antique bedstead. Genuine brass is used in all Elliott's beds where brass accents are an integral feature of the style, never brass-plated steel. All of Elliott's Designs castings are hand poured and hand detailed using our unique aluminum alloy for high definition clarity and structural strength. Castings on an Elliott's bed are structural joints just like the antiques, not merely ornamental. Every Elliott's Designs bed is meticulously formed from heavy gauge steel tubing and solid rod. Particular attention is paid to the original design's scale and size, while making alterations only necessary to accommodate today's larger sizes. Aluminum alloy castings are hand poured, hand filed and hand detailed forming the permanent decorative cast joints ('chills' to antique enthusiasts). This 'collectable construction' feature, unique to Elliott's Designs, has been proven since the late 19th century and allows us to offer a lifetime structural warranty on every Elliott's bedstead. Elliott's Designs prepares each bed end for electrostatic powder painting (developed at Elliott's Designs) by mechanically 'scaring' the cast metal bed end in our custom built giant 'roto-blaster,' another unique Elliott's construction feature. This finishing process allows our electrostatically applied powder paint to bond into the scared metal surface. The finished bed end then enters our custom built curing ovens to heat set the most chip resistant finish available.

Every Elliott's bed is meticulously handcrafted in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility here in the USA...BECAUSE IT DOES MATTER! Your Elliott's bed has all the attention to detail and craftsmanship of the finest timeless designs from the original bedsteads of the Traditional, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Victorian and Edwardian design periods with the added value of today's technology. It's sure to become a treasured family heirloom passed on through generations!
